There are many reasons to create a web page. These include:

We have several options open to us that provide simple ways to create a web presense for yourself.

PBWiki

PWWiki is a free wiki creation tool. (You're looking at a PBWiki page right now.) PBWiki pages can be configured in a variety of ways to allow readers, commenters, or contributors. Wikis generally are used when content collaboration is important, but they can be restricted to viewing only. PBWiki accepts images, movies, and virtually all other media.

Blogger

Blogger is a Google service that provides a simple way to create a blog. Blogs are generally used as a vehicle for personal or professional communication for the blog's owner, but you can also inlcude movies, images, and other media.

Google Sites

Google Sites are available to anyone with a Google account, either through a UAF or a personal Google account. Google sites are like regular web pages--they can contain links, images, movies, and anything else you would find on a web page. You do not need to know anything about HTML to use Google Sites--all items are added from easy to follow menus. Google Sites are useful for collecting resources and desseminating information.
